Government Bullet Buying Bonanza! (It’s a Blowout)

The Department of Homeland Security is at it again!  Apparently the 1.2 billion rounds of ammunition they recently purchased weren’t enough.  (Catch-up here, here, and here). This time they have purchased 200 million more rounds, but the purchase is spread over the next 4 years or so.  (read infowars article here)

“Oh that’s not a big deal, they need ammo to fight off the terrorists”, is what you are saying.  Well I have a rebuttal.  These particular rounds are the same highly accurate sniper bullets that Special Ops agents use.  Don’t forget this isn’t for the military, this is Homeland Security.  For things happening here.  They are obviously preparing for some big conflict, whether with US citizens or some foreign threat.

What do they know that we don’t?

The New Jersey Superbug (*Warning* not a crime fighter)

Given the course the FFP has taken in the past few months, I have no idea how this story slipped past my beat reporters.  In New Jersey, there is an anti-biotic resistant strain of bacteria, Klebsiella pneumoniae,
which has claimed the life of a small boy.  He marks the 7th victim since last summer.

I wanted to add this to my Disease Countdown, but this technically is a case of rampant antibiotics causing dangerous mutations.  This strain is so bad, that the hospital had to clear rooms, move walls, change piping, just to stop it from spreading!  One person got it, they treated it with a super antibiotic, and during treatment the bacteria mutated to be resistant to that as well.  This is seriously scary stuff.

Cover-ups are scary too.  It seems that because the hospital is Federal, it doesn’t have to report its findings, and they aren’t required by law to contact the CDC!  Turns out this Uber-Bacteria (copyright pending) has been around since last year, and has been claiming lives since then.

Again this is one of those infections that you don’t have to be afraid of unless you have a compromised immune system.  Good thing all the crappy, genetically modifiedfood we are eating is working on that problem.

The Yosemite Files: Contagion in Curry Village: Day 28

UPDATE:  It is now thought that a large increase in the mice population is the cause for the outbreaks of the Hantavirus.  Of the traps they set, usually 17-25% get sprung, where as this year 45% were.  This, and other factors, make the experts believe this is the cause.  The next logical question is:  What is causing the over population?

As usual we will stay on top on this situation.  Article Here

Epidemic of Epidemics

I have heard several news sources echoing what I have been getting at in this blog for the past few months:  We are in a epidemic of epidemics.  This news article from the Washington Post is along the lines of what I have been saying, but it really only goes into the West Nile and the Yosemite Hantavirus.  Apparently they aren’t reading the Funk Freedom Press as religiously as they should be otherwise they would know about ALL the various diseases that are back en force (outlined here for new readers to the FFP) .  Coast to Coast recently dedicated half of their nightly show to the strange outbreaks that have been plaguing the US some of which slipped under my watchful eye.  People are taking note, and you read it here first.

Zombie Apocalypse Day 115: Training Day

This article is what dreams are made of.  The security firm HALO will host zombie themed event in San Diego, designed to educate on disaster-scenarios, at the annual counter-terrorism summit.  All of the major government contractors, and private security firms will be there.  I mean they are pulling out all the stops for this thing.  They are hiring a specialty firm, Strategic Operations, Inc. to create the real life scenarios involving Zombies, Hollywood style.  I wonder how much tickets are…
